Michael J. Moriarty age 63 of Clinton, passed away Thursday March 29, 2018 at his home. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday April 3rd at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com. Michael was born on May 2, 1954 in Holyoke, MA, the son of Eugene and Elizabeth (Stone) Moriarty. Michael was married to Donna Descant in 1971, whom they had two daughters together. They were divorced. He later met Virginia Dohse (Rainville) in 1994 in Chicopee, MA and they married on April 23, 2003 in Clinton. He worked for Two Wire Companies in Massachusetts for over 23 years. More recently he worked as a forklift operator at Clausen Company, Clinton for about 18 years. He was an avid Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots, and a Beatles fan. Michael is survived by his wife, Virginia Moriarty of Clinton; three children, Joni (Richard) Fleming of South Hadley, MA, Andrea (Edmond) LeClerc of Greenfield, MA, and Valerie Rainville of Clinton; three grandchildren, Hannah, Ethan, and Tabitha; three sisters, Margaret Moriarty, Patricia (Ronald) Berry, and Diane Dooley; a brother, Mark Moriarty; his mother-in-law, Doris Dohse of Clinton; and his two brothers-in-laws, Vernon and August Dohse both of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents, his grandson, a brother, a sister, and his father-in-law.

Visitation:

Visitation will be held Tuesday 10:00 AM until the service hour at the funeral home.

Service:

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday April 3rd at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be at Oakland Cemetery.

    So sorry for the loss of Michael.My heart, love and prayers to you Ginger and your family......I will come and visit you .Unable to be at funeral due to work but will be thinking of you and will get with you!!Love you Girl!!!

    To Mark Moriarty and Mike's family. I was surprised to see this. Mike was like family to me and my brother Tom. I'll never forget him ( MOE ) Mark, I hope your well and wish I could be there to share your feeling. Love ya dude
