Luanne Kay Mueller age 70 of Camanche, IA passed away Thursday April 18, 2024 at The Alverno Healthcare Facility, Clinton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorial service will be held at 4 PM on Friday, April 26th at the Pape Funeral Home. Gathering of family and friends will be from 2-4 PM on Friday at the Pape Funeral Home. Luanne was born on Aug. 27, 1953 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Robert and Mary (Thompsen) Smith. She graduated from DeWitt High School. She married Darrell Mueller on Dec. 15, 1985 in DeWitt, IA. Luanne worked as an ER Clerk at Mercy Hospital and with Diamond Vogel Paint, Clinton.

Luanne is survived by her husband, Darrell Mueller of Camanche; two children, Amber Mueller of Watkins, MN and Eric Mueller of Guttenberg, IA; her sister, Amy Anderson of Grand Island, FL; her brother, Steve (Denise) Smith of McCausland, IA; and her niece, nephew, and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother in infancy.
