Pearl I. Perryman, age 97 of Maquoketa, Iowa, formerly of Clinton, passed away Thursday, December 7, 2023 at the Maquoketa Care Center. A private graveside service will take place at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2024 starting at 1:00 PM at Triple Play in Fulton. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Pearl was born in Ladysmith, Wisconsin on December 14, 1925, the daughter of Charles and Dora (Stowell) Turner. She married William N. Perryman in January of 1942. William passed away in 1975. Pearl had been employed at the Clinton Garment Factory and later at the Plaza Bowl and with A. C. Nielsen Company. She enjoyed gardening, sewing, dancing, and painting. She loved music and played the organ. She was an avid bowler and was a member of the 600 Club.
Pearl is survived by a daughter, Gloria Albright of Clinton; a son, William (Naomi) Perryman of Grapeland, TX; 2 granddaughters, Barbara Burken (Peter Stolley) and Shannon Ball both of Clinton; 3 great granddaughters, Tatumn, Mackenna, and Layla; a great grandson, Hunter; 2 brothers, James Turner of Clinton and Robert Turner of Minneapolis, MN, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William; son-in-law Keith Albright; a grandson-in-law, Broc Burken, and 10 brothers and sisters.
