
Marilyn A. Stuedemann, age 90, of Clinton, IA passed away Wednesday, June 3, 2026 at The Alverno, Clinton. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, June 8 at St. John Lutheran Church, Clinton. Visitation will be held Monday at 9:30 AM until the service at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be held at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Marilyn was born on January 26, 1936 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Walter and Lula (McCue) Goettsch. She graduated from Lyons High School in 1954. Marilyn married Donald Stuedemann on August 25, 1957 in Clinton, IA. He died in 2019. She worked as a secretary and office manager for Heartland Center for many years. She was a member of St. John Lutheran church and with the Mary Martha Circle at St. John Lutheran, Women’s Farm Bureau, and Iowa Porkettes. She enjoyed bowling, fishing, gardening, and playing cards.
Marilyn is survived by her three daughters, Janet Stuedemann of Denver, CO, Donna (David) Anderson of Bootjack, MI, and Nancy (Reynaldo) Eduvas of Savage, MN; four grandchildren, Kevin, Kara (Evan), Zachary, and Maya. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sister, Marjorie Struve, and brother, Wayne Goettsch.
