Larry A. Lind, age 81 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, December 16, 2023 at his home. In following Larry’s wishes cremation rites will be accorded. No services are being planned for at this time. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Larry was born in Clinton,Iowa on April 29, 1942, the son of Clifford and Alene (Orchard) Lind. He served with the U.S. Navy. Larry married Jeanne Klare on July 22, 1961 in Camanche. Larry was an iron worker with Local 111. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, bowler, and enjoyed going to the casino.
Larry is survived by his wife Jeanne; 2 children, Pamela (Dave) Shepherd and Scott (Beth) Lind both of Clinton; 2 grandchildren, Josh Shepherd and Brianna Lind both of Clinton; 3 brothers, Cliff, Ike, and Jimmy; 4 sisters, Gerda, Linda, Donna, and Carol and numerous nieces and nephews.
