I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. I know how much my Dad (Ted) loved seeing you both when you came to Nebraska.
I remember Gerry and you, Carolyn, when we were growing up in Albany. You were always so kind to us and as I was growing up, you were a presence in the sporting events. I speak for the Leavens family, we are so sorry and our deepest condolences.

I was blessed to officiate girls and boys high school basketball for almost 20 years with Gerry. He was a state tournament caliber referee but more importantly he was a better person and a dear friend who made me a better person!
We traveled thousands of miles together and worked countless games. The smile you see in this obituary tells you all you need to know about Gerry. I never ever heard him say a bad word about anyone nor did I ever see him angry.
My dear wife, Sue, always used the word “awesome” when she met people who brought joy to her heart.
Can you imagine how much joy Gerry brought to so many countless people
We pray for all the Kramer family!
Deepest sympathy to the family.
