Bernice Paysen age 96 of Goose Lake passed away Monday, September 15, 2025 at Allure of Moline. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Elvira Cemetery.
Bernice was born on June 9, 1929 in Aledo, IL the daughter of Harry and Mini (Johnson) Miller. She was raised in Eliza, IL Bernice married Leonard Paysen on December 2, 1971 in Muscatine, IA. She was employed at the Heinz Company in Muscatine for a short time. Bernice enjoyed dancing, shopping, eating out and gardening.
Bernice is survived by her husband Leonard; a daughter, Barb and her children, Chad and Holly and their children, Autumn, Azalya, and Aurora; a son David Paysen of Clinton and his sons, Clayton and James, and many nieces and nephews.
