Zelma Mae Bradshaw age 103 of Charlotte, IA, passed away Friday Dec. 4, 2020 at her home. A private family visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Tuesday Dec. 8th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Zelma was born on March 29, 1917 in Allegan, MI, the daughter of Clarence and Bertha (Curtis) Davis.
She married Walter Bradshaw on Sept. 21, 1935 in Allegan, MI, he died in 1996. They moved to Stockton, CA and lived there until moving to Iowa in 2007. She was an exceptional cook and waitress at T’s Drive-In for many years. Zelma enjoyed needlepoint, singing, doing her search word puzzles everyday, her church activities, and her cats & dogs.
Zelma is survived by her granddaughter Connie (Donald) Lewis of Baxter Springs, KS; her grandson, Mark Wright of Stockton, CA; and granddaughter in law Joleen Wright of Charlotte, IA; 11 great grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband-Walter, her daughter-Dolores Bradshaw Wright, her grandson-John Wright, her brother, and three sisters.
