Mark A. Clary, age 36 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 10th from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Prairie Union Cemetery outside of Low Moor, IA. Mark Allen Clary was born in Clinton, IA on March 2, 1987, the son of Bryan Clary and Debra (Meyermann) Hartz. He worked at Nestle Purina and also helped farm with his step-dad Brian Hartz. Mark enjoyed reading, computers, and spending time with his nieces and newphews. He was very devoted to his family.
Mark is survived by his mother and step-dad Debra and Brian Hartz; his step-dad Charlie Barr; sister Tara (Kylr Adrian) Barr; brothers Marshall Barr and Bryan (Brandy) Clary; niece and nephews Damian Birt, Dominik Clary, Kylr Adrian Jr., Maddix Barr, Grace Adrian, and Grayson Barr; and numerous aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father Bryan Clary, and his grandparents.
