Eugene E. Isaman age 89 of Clinton, passed away Sunday Jan. 6, 2019 at Prairie Hills at Clinton. Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday Jan. 10th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday Noon until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be held at National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix, AZ. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
Eugene was born on Jan. 1, 1930 in Swain, NY, the son of Alfred and Alice (Lounsbury) Isaman. He served in the US Air Force from 1948-1973, when he retired. He married Eleanor Kean in 1951 in Cape Cod, MA, she died in 2004. He later married Barbara Fullick (Naeve) on March 30, 2006 in Alamo, TX. Gene served as a volunteer fireman and worked at the US Post Office in Arizona for many years. He volunteered for Meals on Wheels in Clinton. He was a member of Prince of Peace, Clinton.
Eugene is survived by his wife, Barbara Naeve of Clinton; two daughters, Cheryl (Rolando) Gaza of Oro Grande, CA and Jeanne Eagan of Mesa, AZ; his son, Mark (Susan) Isaman of Colorado Springs, CO; his step-daughter, Renee (Daniel) Williams of Clinton; 16 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren; a brother, James Isaman of Dalton, NY; and a sister, Roberta Willard of Monroe, WA. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, and a son, Steven, and a granddaughter.
