Diane M. Peters age 68 of Teeds Grove, Iowa passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2026 at Genesis East Hospital, Davenport. In following Diane’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, December 12, 2026 at the Imperial Lanes in Camanche. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Diane was born in Savanna on September 11, 1958, the daughter of Ralph and Carol (Rathje) Johnson. She graduated from Northeast High School. Diane married Galen Peters on May 21, 1977 in Clinton. Diane had been employed at A.C. Nielsen, Iowa State Bank and Gateway Supply. Diane had an unconditional love of her family and friends. She enjoyed going and watching Galen and her boys while they bowled through-out the area, playing cards and games with the family and spending time with Scarlett.
Diane is survived by her husband, Galen; a son, Eric Peters of Clinton; a granddaughter Kaley (Devon Brown) Peters of Marion, IA; a great granddaughter Lilly Lou; her sister, Tammy (Dale) Diedrich of Goose Lake; 2 brothers, Dan Johnson of Fulton and Scott Johnson of Davenport and several nieces and nephews.
