JoLynn C. Pelham age 77 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. In following JoLynn’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 12, 2025 at the Pape Funeral Home.
JoLynn was born in Clinton on March 16, 1947, the daughter of Frank and Mildred (Doty) Frank. She attended St. Patrick’s Grade School and graduated from Our Lady of Angels Academy. JoLynn married Steve Pelham on November 28, 1971 in Garden Plain, IL. JoLynn and Steve opened Pelham Brother’s on August 1, 1984 and they worked side by side for over 40 years. She enjoyed baking cookies and brownies and feeding the birds and squirrels. JoLynn lived for her family, especially her grandchildren.
JoLynn is survived by her husband, Steve; a daughter, Elizabeth (Gary Keis) Hays of Clinton; 2 sons, Michael (Olivia) Pelham of Argo Fay, IL, and Matthew (Melissa) Pelham of Bettendorf and 7 grandchildren, Sara, Kaylie, Thomas, Isla, Charlotte, Jack and Charlie. She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
I got to know Jolynn while working at Jewel. She was such a kind, friendly soul. She would always be purchasing nuts etc to feed the birds and squirrels. When people care for nature says a lot about who they are. R.I.P. Condolences to her family.
