Susan A. Herrmann age 78

Susan Herrmann, 78 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026 at her home. According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 10 AM on Friday, September 18th at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funereal Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Susan Annette Herrmann was born in Clinton on July 6, 1948, the daughter of Herbert and Ruby (Kinkaid) Wynkoop. She married Terrance Hickey in 1965, died 1996. Susan later married Richard Herrmann in 2008, who passed away in 2020.
Susan is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Nadine) Hickey of Clinton and Joey (Bridget) Hickey of Bettendorf; step-daughter Beth (Dennis) Determan of Clinton; two step-sons, David (Eileen) Herrmann of Clinton, IA and Doug (Janelle) Herrmann of Rock Island, IL; five grandchildren; two brothers, Rick and David (Susan) Wynkoop both of Clinton; two sisters, Kathy Hilgendorf of Clinton, and Marsha (Gene) Gillis. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; two brothers; and one sister.
