William H. “Bill” Christiansen age 71 of Charlotte, IA passed away Saturday Nov. 9, 2024 at the University of Iowa Downtown Campus in Iowa City. Bill was born on March 25, 1953 in Clinton, IA the son of Gerhardt and Luella (Meggers) Christiansen. He graduated from Northeast High School in 1971. Bill was a veteran on the US Army. He worked as a yardman at Spahn & Rose in Charlotte for many years. Bill enjoyed golfing, fishing, motorcycling, shooting fireworks, and his Corvette.
Bill is survived by his daughter, Hannah (Jeff) Ryan of Clinton, IA; his son, Broc Christiansen of Morrison, IL; his step-daughter, Katrina (Michael) House of Clinton, IA; his step-son, Brandon Eberhart of Charlotte, IA; a grandson, Maverick; two sisters, Alane Burkholder of Charlotte, IA and Pam (Michael) Logsdon of Clinton, IA; two brothers, Gene (Bev) Christiansen and Jeff (Penny) Christiansen both of Camanche, IA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and two nephews, Christopher and Brian.
