John J. Paysen age 52 of Clinton passed away expectantly on Thursday April 4, 2024 at his home. A Celebration of Life will be held Wednesday April 10th from 1:00 – 6:00 PM at the DeWitt Community Center in DeWitt, IA. Cremation rites have been accorded. John was born on Oct. 28, 1971 in Clinton, IA the son of Richard and Sharon (Soll) Paysen. He graduated from Clinton High School. He was a carpenter/construction with Dubuque Local Union #678. He enjoyed fixing and remodeling metal toy tractors and trucks. John was known for his homemade cookies. He enjoyed going to Old Town Restaurant for breakfast.
John is survived by his mother, Sharon Reedy of Clinton, IA; his sister, Connie Ladehoff of Clinton, IA; his two brothers, Jason (Phyllis) Paysen and David Paysen both of Clinton, IA; and several nieces & nephews and great nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, brother, Richard Jr., and step-brother, Joe.
