Jason C. Greve, age 49 of Clinton, passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, February 2, 2024 surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, February 7th at the Pape Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 7:00 PM, where a luncheon will follow at the Camanche Bowling Alley. In following Jason’s wishes cremation rites will follow the service.
Jason was born in Iowa City on April 17, 1974, the son of Jack and Sheila (Smith) Greve. He graduated from Clinton High School. Jason married Brenda DeMarr on March 21, 2021 in Las Vegas. Jason had been employed at Jewell/Osco, International Paper and Nestle Purina. He was a man of all trades and a self-employed contractor. He had a love of carpentry. Jason enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and boating. He coached Little League baseball, loved to cook, was an avid animal lover, and followed the Cubs and Bears.
Jason is survived by his wife Brenda; children, Courtney (Eric) Csaplik of Camanche, Nicholas DeMarr of Clinton, Brady (Emily) Regenwether of DeWitt, Kristopher DeMarr of Clinton, Taylor (Austin) Wiersema of Morrison, Connor (Brooke) Bodman of Clinton, Paige Greve of Clinton, and Brantly Greve of Clinton; 12 grandchildren; his father, Jack Greve of Clinton; a sister, Stephanie Greve of Lubbock, TX and a brother, Jeremy (Cary) Greve of Clinton.
