Frieda Jane Lundin age 83

Frieda J. Lundin, age 83 of Clinton, formerly of Bryant, passed away Saturday, August 19, 2023 at Eagle Point Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, August 22nd at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Preston.
Frieda was born in Clinton County on September 30, 1939, the daughter of Harold and Adala (Schmidt) Mussmann. She married William (Bill) Lundin on March 2, 1957 in Preston. Bill passed away on March 30, 1995. Prior to her marriage Frieda had been employed at the Clinton Garment Factory. She later was employed at the Iowa State Liquor Store in DeWitt. She enjoyed gardening, reading, puzzles, and baking.
Frieda is survived by 6 children; Pat (Dan) Steensen, David Lundin, Bonnie (Brian) Powell all of Clinton, Joseph (Sharon) Lundin of Camanche, Richard “Roxanne” Lundin (Nancy Knapp) of Welton, and Frances (Timmy) Guidry of Clinton; 7 grandchildren; 3 Step-grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Lois McCluskey of Clinton, Mary Ellen “Mickey” Seeser of Clinton, Beverly Galloway of Low Moor, and Jane (John) Van Horn of Clinton; a brother, Robert Mussmann of Low Moor and many nieces and nephews.
