Gail M. Chandler age 75 of Clinton, IA passed away Tuesday May 9, 2023 at Genesis East Medical Center in Davenport, IA. Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM Monday May 15th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Sunday May 14th at the funeral home from 2:00 – 5:00 PM. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Gail was born on April 24, 1948 in Queens, NY the daughter of Leslie and Eleanor (Bornick) Brooks. She married Bob Chandler on June 9, 1975 in Las Vegas, NV. She worked at Determann Asphalt (Manatt’s) in Camanche, IA as an office manager from 1986-2020. Gail enjoyed crocheting, known for her blankets, baking, and loved being with family.
Gail is survived by her husband, Bob Chandler of Clinton, IA; three children, Harold (Tammy) Meunier of Prairieville, LA, Michael Meunier of Oceanside, CA, and Brian Meunier of Clinton, IA; six grandchildren, Dalton, Kelsey, Chandler, Chris, Brittney, and Shawn(Micki) Ryan; three great grandchildren, Amelia, Finley, and Colton; her three brothers, Leslie Brooks Jr., Bobby (Del) Brooks, and Gary (Rosalinda) Brooks all of Oceanside, CA; her sister, Sharon Bourbeau-Brooks of Murrieta, CA; and several nieces & nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Randy.
