Jeaninne L. Clark, 80, of Clinton Iowa, passed away Saturday, April 8, 2023, at the Clarissa C. Cook hospice house, Bettendorf, IA. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life gathering will be held at a later date. Jeaninne was born on December 11, 1942 in Mt. Carroll, IL, the daughter of Irvin and Isadora (Manning) Senneff. She married James Conley on May 5, 1962 in Fulton, IL. He preceded her in death on November 18, 1972. She later married James Clark on February 26, 1988 in Clinton, IA. He preceded her in death on May 12, 2013.
Jeaninne was employed by the Clinton County Auditors office for 38 years working as the budget director. She also owned and operated the McKinley Street tavern with her husband Jim for many years. Jeaninne enjoyed reading and collecting giraffes, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Jeaninne is survived by her granddaughter Maryjo Conley (Zach Tansey) of Davenport, IA; stepsons, Jeff (Katie) Clark and David Clark, both of Clinton, IA; step grandchildren, Jeff (Heather) Clark, Sara Clark, Kelly Clark, Kasey Clark, Kyle Clark; step great grandchildren Zaylee Orsi, Brecken Clark, Cassidy Clark, Cecelia Clark; siblings, Barbara Senneff of Sun Lakes, AZ, Rosemary (Paul) Skocz of Key West, FL, Tom (Kathy) Senneff of Savanna, IL, as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by both husbands, her parents, her son Tim Conley, sister Beverly Schroth, and brother Jerry Senneff.
