Verne F. Morrow age 86 of Camanche, IA passed away Wednesday Feb. 11, 2026 at his home. Cremation rites will be accorded. A gathering of friends and family will be held Tuesday Feb. 17th from 4 – 6 PM at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Burial will be held on Wednesday Feb. 18th at the Rock Island National Cemetery. Verne was born on March 8, 1939 in Clinton, IA the son of Kenneth and Edna (Hansen) Morrow. He served in the US Marine Corp from 1956-1959. He worked as a Local Union Carpenter for many years. He enjoyed watching NASCAR, sports, and going fishing.
Verne is survived by his two sons, Verne (Laurie) Morrow of Minneapolis, MN and Wade Morrow of Clinton, IA; and several grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Patrick.
