Patricia L. Carver, 85 of Clinton, passed away at her home on Friday, March 21, 2025 surrounded by family. According to her wishes, cremation rites will be accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Patricia was born in Bramwell, West Virginia on December 17, 1939, the daughter of Glen and Alta (Bingham) Simpkins. She married Samuel Carver on November 17, 1959 in Bluewell, WV. Sam passed away in 2022. Patricia worked and retired from Dairy Pak Packaging. She enjoyed camping, dancing, and traveling to her hometown with family in West Virginia with Sam. Most of all, Patricia loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Patricia is survived by her children, Missy (Joe) Feldhacker of Waukee, IA, Tim (Teri) Carver of Clinton, and Steve (Patti) Carver of Clinton; seven grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; sisters Judy Scribbner, Brenda (Dave) Moore, and Cissy Lambert; brothers Don and Gene Simpkins, and P-Nut Musick; sister-in-law Elah Simpkins; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Sam, brother Jack Simpkins; sisters Betty Bingham and Louise Crigger; and a special friend Brenda Buikemma.
Gma i love you so much! you were my Rock you made me the stronge person I am today. You were the best gma , mother and great gma ❤️ anyone could ever have. Me and the kids will always have are talks are memory’s are secrets are laughes. You and gpa are together again. we will be together soon. I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck ???? ❤️
To the best grandma ever. I hope you and grandpa are having margaritas together. My best childhood memories were because of you and playing at your house, all the things you used to do for us, places you took us, and memories we built I will cherish forever. The yummy food you would make. Everything you did you did it with love. I will miss you dearly. Sending all the love to my family back home.
