Kathleen E. Boehde – 85

Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday June 26th at Zion Lutheran Church. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Kathleen E. Boehde age 85 of Clinton, passed away Saturday June 22, 2019 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday June 26th at Zion Lutheran Church with burial following the service at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Visitation will be 5–7 PM Tuesday at the Church.

Kathleen was born on March 17, 1934 in Preston, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Kathryn (Ketelsen) Mohr. She graduated from Preston High School. Kathleen married Carl Boehde on Dec. 28, 1952 in Preston. She worked at Champion Dairy Pak for over 25 years. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Kathleen and Carl enjoyed dancing and travel including many trips to Las Vegas. She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed time with her family especially the little ones.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Michael (Debra) Boehde of Onalaska, WI; her daughter, Diane (Thomas) Brinkman of Naperville, IL; five grandchildren, Dave (Lucy) Boehde, Dawn (Matt) Hoff, Rachel (Ben) Burrow, Daniel (Denise) Brinkman, and Beth Brinkman; and eight great grandchildren, Clara, Amelia, Mason, Noah, Aubrey, Andrew, Ellianna, and Hazel.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a sister, Lois Schnack; and two brothers, Harold and Loran Mohr.
