Judith R. “Judy” Johnson, age 79 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, August 7, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, August 11th at the Pape Funeral Home. A private funeral will be held on Thursday with burial at a later date in Springdale Cemetery.
Judy was born in Clinton on February 24, 1942, the daughter of Charles “Chuck” and Rose Mae “Dolly” (Edwards) Ralston. She graduated from Clinton High School. Judy had worked at the University of Iowa Hospitals in housekeeping for 5 years. She was a member of the Lutheran faith. She enjoyed singing, dancing, her garden flowers and going to the casino.
Judy is survived by a son David Martensen of Clinton; a daughter, Paulette (Dennis) Hill of Williamsburg, IA; a sister, Barbara (Joe) Rychtarik of Ottawa, IL; 3 brothers, Jim Ralston of Delmar, Gary (Carol) Ralston of Fulton and Sy (Brenda) Andresen of Clinton and several nieces and nephews.
