Joseph “Skip” C. Maresca, Jr. age 74 of Fulton, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday Dec. 1, 2020 at his home, with his children at his side. Cremation rites have been accorded. Joseph was born on Aug. 12, 1946 in Savanna, IL, the son of Joseph and LaVonne (Hicks) Maresca, Sr.
He was a proud veteran, serving in the US Army. He was a Union Pipefitter by trade. He was proudest to be called “Grampa Skip”. He enjoyed baseball, fishing, and traveling. He attended all the grandchildren’s births and special events.
Joseph is survived by his daughter, Angel Bell of Benton, WI and her children, Geoffrey and Jimmy;
His two sons, Nick (Myrna) Maresca of Muscatine and his children, Dylan, Danielle, and Isabelle, and son, Marc (Alexa) Maresca of Grimes, IA and his children, Avery, Andrew, and Logan; his three brothers, Rocco, Michael, and Tony Maresca; and his sister, Cina. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Joci.
