Evelyn E. Siems age 77 of Clinton, IA passed away Thursday March 13, 2025 at Addington Place of Clinton. A visitation will be held Wednesday March 26th from 4 – 6 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. Cremation rites have been accorded.
Evelyn was born on Nov. 12, 1947 in Providence, RI the daughter of Elmer and Evelyn (Charliebois) Mowry. She worked as a Lab Technician for Mercy Hospital. She loved her dog, Major.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Jeffery (Carrie) Siems of Blue Springs, MO; her grandson, Bentley Siems of Blue Springs, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister, Barb, and a brother, Robert.

RIP Evie. I worked with Evie at Mercy for many years but got to know her better through her love of dogs. She helped teach the puppy classes that I took all of my dogs to. Her eyes would light up if I asked her how her dogs were doing. I wish I had been able to take her agility class but it didn’t work out. I hope there are dogs in heaven.
