Deanna D. Holm, age 79 of Camanche, passed away Sunday, March 14, 2021 at her home. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, March 18th at Cottonwood Cemetery, rural Morrison, IL. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Wednesday, March 17th at the Pape Funeral Home.
Deanna was born in Clinton on September 29, 1941, the daughter of Vernon and Nada Belle (Cooper) Cady. She was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith. She graduated from Clinton High School. Deanna married Robert Holm on July 9, 1961 in Clinton. Robert passed away on March 9, 2006. Deanna had been employed at Gardee’s Jack and Jill, Kopp’s Market, Wyndcrest Nursing Home and Mercy Medical Center from where she retired in 2006. She was a member of the former Odeon Club. She enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren, crocheting, and her annual shopping trips and going to the casino with Anna Knapp..
Deanna is survived by 5 daughters; Tammy (Mark) Larson of Clinton, Tracy (Greg) Comstock of Clinton, Tina Rehr (Dave Gluesing) of Elvira, Teresa (Steve) Norem of Fulton and Tonya Holm (Charles Snyder) of Clinton; 7 grandchildren, Amy, Ryan, Andrew, Brandon (Devin), Bradley (Cassi Leigh), Courtney and Chloe; 4 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Arianna, Harmonee, and Kensley; a great-great grandson, Laken; her companion, Charley Farley, with whom she made her home; 2 sisters-in-law, Lori (Bruce) Joens of Preston, IA and Patti Landorf of Montgomery, IL and several nieces and nephews.
