Daniel L. Huebner age 67 of Camanche, passed away Wednesday Sept. 1, 2021 at his home. Cremation rites will be accorded and a Celebration of Life Gathering will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home, Clinton is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
Dan was born on Sept. 20, 1953 in Savanna, IL, the son of Lester and Margaret (Miller) Huebner. He married Luann Van Hook on Aug. 29, 1975 in Clinton, Iowa, she died in 2017. Dan worked as a heavy equipment operator at IPSCO Steel for many years. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking, and his dog, Jasper.
Dan is survived by his two children, Tara Huebner of Camanche, IA and Tom Huebner of Clinton, IA; a granddaughter, Peyton Huebner; two sisters, Peggy (Robert) Everson of Clinton, IA and Theresa (Michael) Kalmas of Dubuque, IA; his brother, Dale (Vera) Huebner of Hurst, TX; and a half-brother, Jesse Huebner. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Randi Huebner, and a brother, Lindus Huebner.
