Carla Jo Kostka, age 63 of Clinton, passed away Friday, December 18, 2020 at Unity Point Hospital, Rock Island, IL. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday, January 2, 2021 at the Pape Funeral Home.
Carla was born in Macon, Georgia on May 7, 1957, the daughter of Carlton and Jacque (Williams) McClelland. She graduated from Clinton High School and attended cosmetology school. Carla loved spending time with and helping her nieces and nephews. She enjoyed camping, ceramics, fishing, collecting owls and eagle watching.
Carla is survived by her mother, Jacque McTier of Clinton; a sister, Kittie (Tom) Jenkins of Clinton; 2 brothers, Carlton (Kim) Kostka of Clinton and T.J. McTier of Low Moor and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her step-father, Norman Kostka, a nephew, Douglas, and a step-brother.
