Beverly Ann Evers age 94 of Clinton, IA passed away Wednesday March 12, 2025 at Eagle Point Nursing and Rehabilitation, Clinton. Funeral service Wednesday March 19th at 11:00 AM at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation Wednesday 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Tom Monahan, Tim Arvola, Patrick and Matthew Monahan, Brady and Ethan Monahan. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com
Beverly was born on Nov. 6, 1930 in Clinton the daughter of Martin and Dorothy (Petersen) Evers. She worked as a waitress for downtown Maidrite and Udder Delight and helping local families with childcare. Beverly enjoyed country music and dancing, embroidery, crossword puzzles, going to Lumberkings games, and she enjoyed playing games with her grandchildren. In 2011, she took a family vacation to Arizona, attended baseball games, and visited the Grand Canyon, where she commented “That’s a big hole.” She loved all her dogs, especially her last dog, Katie.
Beverly is survived by her son, Tom (Kathy) Monahan and daughter, Velda (Tim) Arvola both of Clinton, IA; 4 grandchildren, Patrick, Matthew, Katie, and Emily; 4 great grandchildren, Brady, Ethan, Declan, and Sophie. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Wayne, and her infant twin sister.
I’m blessed to have been able to meet Bev! It truly was an honor to be one of her caregivers and Bev is truly going to be missed by all. I’m so sorry for your loss and sending prayers for you all
