Kathleen M. McMahon age 63 of Clinton, IA passed away Tuesday, February 24th, 2026, at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City. Cremation rites have been accorded and the visitation will be held Saturday, March 7th from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home in Clinton, Iowa. Kathleen (Kathy) was born on October 8th, 1962 in Clinton, Iowa the daughter of Charles and Janet (Frankard) McMahon. In 1985 she met her lifelong partner, Daniel Lantz, who passed in 2010. She was a homemaker, enjoyed gardening and music, was an avid Cubs fan, and an animal lover of all kinds. She enjoyed spending time with friends and family and enjoying time in her backyard out on the deck.
Kathleen is survived by her daughter, Katelyn Lantz (Ferris Mohd) of Los Angeles, CA; her sister, Jean (Steve) Wilkens of Marshalltown, IA; her brothers, John (Barb) McMahon of Milwaukee, WI and Michael (Nancy) McMahon of Iron Mountain, MI, brother Robert; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, partner, Daniel, and brother, Pat.
