Dorothy Jean Morgan was born in Des Moines, in Polk County Iowa, on July 20, 1927, the daughter of Clifford Pearl Morgan and Wilda Nora (Gandy) Morgan. Dorothy’s family later moved to Clinton where she graduated from Clinton High School in 1945. During her senior year, she worked at Woolworth’s and met William ‘Bill’ Koepp. They married after her graduation, and later divorced.

Dorothy’s interest in interior decorating led to her creating Koepp Interiors. She worked as decorator with Hearth & Home for 22 years, also Dave Rose, Robert Fuller Construction, and Wayne Montgomery, Davenport. She later was hostess at Valley Oaks Golf and Country Club for 18 years, and retired as office manager at Iowa East Central TRAIN.

Dorothy loved horses, and especially dogs. She was a pet sitter for area families for many years, and she spent many happy hours with her Shih Tzu, Toby. She was an avid Cubs fan, never missing a game on TV, always knowing the team’s standings. Her other hobbies included bowling, playing golf, and going to the Wild Rose Casino.

Dorothy is survived by 4 nieces, Pamela Prunity, Claudia Else, Joan Lauritzen, and Diana Morgan and 2 nephews, Mark Morgan and Steven Morgan; 2 step-nieces, Sharon Geerts and Karon Drevyako; many great and great-great nieces and nephews, special friends, Lisa (Brian) Costello, and Terry (Sheila) Smith, in-home care-givers Jan Sievers and Tashua Zmuda, and the Big Meadows Family. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, her father, Clifford, in 1966, her mother, Wilda, in 2000, a brother, Charley Wayne Morgan, in 2006, and nieces, Linda Yeager and Rita Morgan.
