Christine R. Sandstoe age 62 of Clinton passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. A Celebration of Life will take place from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Imperial Lanes in Camanche. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Christine was born in Clinton on November 7, 1962, the daughter of Noble “Pete” and Dorothy (Adams) Sandstoe. She graduated from Clinton High School and attended Clinton Community College. She had been employed at PFC and in the Office of Wick of Clinton County. Christine was an active volunteer with her Clinton High class reunions. She enjoyed cooking, bowling, board games, hosting parties, loved watching movies, and listening to music.
Christine is survived by several cousins and her special friends, Penny Welch of Clinton, Carol Lee of California, Cindy Johnson and Kevin Torrey both of Clinton, and Marty and Betsy Kinder of Savanna.
