Joan M. Beeck age 91

Joan Marie Beeck, 91 of Clinton, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Addington Place, Clinton. Visitation will be held on Friday, September 12th from 9:30 AM until 11 AM at the Pape Funeral Home. Funeral Services will begin at 11 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held in Miles Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Luke Witt, Curtis and Scott Miller, Nick and Olivia Gerardy, and Kaydence Kramer. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Joan was born in Jackson County, IA on June 1, 1934, the daughter of Milo and Helma (Mehlberg) Baker Sr. She married Billy Miller in Ottumwa, IA in 1954. Billy died in 1983. Joan later married David Beeck in 2003 in Fulton, IL. David died in 2020. Joan belonged to Gateway Faith Fellowship Church in Fulton. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, cooking, baking, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Joan is survived by her four children, Cheryl Miller of Colbert, OK, Diana (Tom) Gerardy of Clinton, Craig (Julie) Miller of Fulton, IL, and Melanie (Larry) Witt of Camanche, IA; 9 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janice (Don) Dawson of Clinton and Phyllis DeLarm of Delmar, IA; three brothers, Bill Baker of Maquoketa, IA, Milo Baker Jr. and Marvin Baker, both of Fulton, IA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; both husbands; a son, Jay; and one brother, Norman.
