Dolores E. “Dee” (Sander) Wilson age 97 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 at Fieldstone in DeWitt. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Faith Lutheran Church in Andover. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until the service at the Church. Burial will be in Clinton Lawn Cemetery. The Pallbearers will be Kevin, Craig and Tristen Sander, Matthew Klaus, Jennifer & Brent Wilson. Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Dee was born in Savanna, IL on January 7, 1928, the daughter of Edward and Rose (Danielski) Lister. She graduated from Savanna High School. Dee married Raymond Sander on June 17, 1945 in Savanna. Raymond passed away on February 15, 1992. She later married Bruce Wilson on June 25, 1996 in Las Vegas. Bruce passed away on June 22, 2015. Dee and Raymond farmed for 27 years in the Bryant/Andover area. She was also employed at Clinton Garment Factory, where she served as Union President and Sabula Speaker Factory. Dee cared for her own mother and also did home health care for others. Dee was a very active member of Faith Lutheran Church. She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed bowling, tending to her flower garden with that green thumb of hers, canning fruits and vegetables, playing cards, crafting and feeding the birds, especially hummingbirds. She enjoyed watching the CUBS and Iowa Hawkeye basketball.

Dee is survived by 2 daughters, Linda (Donald) Klaus of Bluffton, OH and Karen (Al) Heath of South Milwaukee, WI; a daughter-in-law, Vickey Sander of Andover; 4 grandchildren, Matthew (Stephanie) Klaus of London, OH, Jennifer (Brent) Wilson of Bluffton, OH, Kevin (Marcy) Sander of Estherville, IA, and Craig (Corinne) Sander of Andover; 11 great grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren; 6 step-great grandchildren; 7 step-great-great grandchildren; 3 step-children, Barth (Julie) Wilson of Papillion, NE Brent (Sonja) Wilson of Clinton and Susan (Jim) Williams of DeWitt; 6 step-grandchildren, Dee and Brittney had a very special bond; 12 step-great grandchildren; a niece, Cherly Sander and a cousin, Geraldine Piper. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, a son, Gary in 2023 and her brother, Keith. Memorials may be made to Faith Lutheran Church of Andover or the Alzheimer’s Association.
