Sarah E. Curtis age 91 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the Alverno. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Thursday, April 10, 2025 at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the visitation cremation rites will be accorded.
Sarah was born in Warsaw, IL on September 25, 1933, the daughter of Jesse and Edith (Schlipman) Curtis. She had been employed at International Paper, Ralston Purina in Davenport. PFC, and in the bakery at HyVee in Clinton. Sarah had been a member of the Red Hat Club and the Unity Center in Clinton. She enjoyed going to rodeos and county music. She enjoyed traveling, especially her cruise to Alaska. An adventurous soul, Sarah had gone skydiving in her 70’s.
Sarah is survived by 2 daughters; Joetta Walker and Nancy (John) Rose both of Clinton; 4 grandchildren, John III, Nathan, Tonya, and Sally; 5 great grandchildren, Andrew, Tyler, Caleb, Alaina, and Nancy, and 4 great-great grandchildren, Xaden, Braysen, Autumn, and Kaiden.
