Gina M. Anderson age 56 of Low Moor, passed away Sunday, December 15, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family. In following Gina’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will take place from 12:00 noon until 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2025 at the Imperial Lanes in Camanche. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Gina was born in Clinton on October 27, 1968, the daughter of Denny and Jean (Marr) Ytsen. She married Craig Anderson on October 27, 2001 in Clinton. Gina had worked as a bartender at Cousins in Low Moor and M.J.’s in DeWitt. She enjoyed hanging out at Legend’s; playing BINGO in Meskwaki, TV game shows, bowling, and being with her cat, Simba.
Gina is survived by her husband, Craig; 3 sons, Nathan Matyasse of davenport, Brandon (Diana) Anderson of Albany, IL, and Sean (Lexi) Anderson of Colo, IA; a granddaughter Isabelle and one on the way; her mother, Jean Beoding of Clinton; 2 sisters, Tammy DeWitt (Dean Gruhn) of De Witt and Leigh (Chris) Nylin of Clinton; 5 brothers, C. Scott (Joan) Boeding of Roanoke, IL, Bradley (Natalie) Boeding of Roanoke, IL, Jason (Becky) Boeding of DeWitt, Mark (Bobbi) Boeding of DeWitt, and Brent (Lynn) Wilkerson of Two Rivers, WI; her step mother, Susan Ytsen of Clinton, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Denny Ytsen; her step-father, Ron and her mother-in-law, Carolynn Pennington. Memorials may be made to the family. So sorry to hear of Gina’s passing. When we were kids, her Mother moved to Low Moor several years ago. I met Gina and her sisters. We became good friends. Gina babysat for me when I got my first job. God bless her. May she rest in peace.
I remember when she and I were teammates on Monday Night bowling years ago. I remember her being a hoot! A lot of laughs (and cursing words) were shared! lol!
