Lucile M. Hague of Clinton passed away peacefully Sunday Nov. 24, 2024 at Eagle Point Health Care Center in Clinton. She lived to be 103 years old. Lucile was born on June 10, 1921 in Clinton, IA the daughter of Charles and Fannie (Bossen) Walbridge. She married Daniel Hague on Oct. 4, 1941 in Camanche, IA, he died in 2012. She was a homemaker, volunteer and a member of the Episcopal faith.
Lucile lived a wonderful life with her husband Dan; they were married for over 70 years. They traveled often and had four beautiful children together, Rose Marie, Linda, Dan and Barb. They loved spending time with all of their grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their grandchildren Tad, Jeff and Kelly will be forever grateful for the essential role they played in their lives.
Lucile loved spending time with her fur soulmate, Sugar. She enjoyed watching Turner Classic Movies and the occasional trip to the casino. Lucile loved long car rides and visits to her favorite family restaurants. She was adored by the staff at Eagle Point Health Care where she spent her last three years. She was affectionately referred to as “Lucy”. She will always be remembered by her family and friends as strong, sweet and stubborn.
Funeral service will be held Noon Friday Nov. 29th at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Friday 11:00-12:00 until service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Springdale Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
