Thomas A. “Tom” Fuller age 77 of Clinton, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2024 at his home. In following Tom’s wishes cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will take place from 4:00 to 7:00 PM on Friday, November 22, 2024 at the Rusty Barrel, 224 5th Ave. South in Clinton. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Tom was born in Clinton on March 12, 1947, the son of Robert and Ailene (Dorathy) Fuller. He graduated from Clinton High School in 1965. Tom married Joyce Stanford on February 26, 1966 in Clinton. He later married Bonnie Petersen on March 22, 1997 in Las Vegas. Tom owned and operated Tom Fuller Plumbing for many years. Tom loved boating on the Mississippi, NHRA drag racing, folk rock, and buying and selling cars. He was an avid Chicago Bear fan and also followed the Hawkeyes and Bulls.
Tom is survived by his wife Bonnie; 5 children, Theresa (Johnny Leab) Stancil of Clinton, Tiffany (Kevin) Phillips-Weber of Marion, IA, Tommy (Amy) Fuller of Clinton, Trevor Petersen of Des Moines, and Tiffany (Jess) Rickertsen of Solon, IA; 12 grandchildren, Joshua Fuller, Nate (Ashley) Fuller
Samantha (Shaun) Vath, Brittany (Tony) Dehner, Zach (Drew Griffiths) Stancil, Kyle Phillips, Seth (Jenna) Phillips, Leven Petersen, Bella Petersen. Sydney Stegeman, Brayden Rickertsen and Dayne Rickertsen; 11 great grandchildren; and brother, Gary (Sharon) Fuller of Clinton; a special nephew, Travis Winter of Clinton, and special friend, Dave Elkins of Clinton. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Shirley, and 3 brothers, Bob, Dave, and Donny. The family would like to thank St. Croix Hospice for their compassionate care.
