Nathaniel F. “Nate” McClintock age 65 of Sabula, passed away Tuesday, September 24, 2024 at his home. Cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, October 26, 2024 at the Pape Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at St. Irenaeus Calvary Cemetery.
Nate was born in Clinton on October 31, 1958, the son of Franklin D. and Lois Ann (Bassler) McClintock. He graduated from Clinton High School. He served with the United States Marine Corps from 1978 to 1980. Nate had worked on the family farm. He worked construction and as a truck driver in Arizona for several years and later managed Almont Tavern. He was always willing to help anyone out and enjoyed spending time helping art associations in Savanna and Elizabeth, IL.
Nate is survived by his father, Frank (Carol) McClintock of Clinton; 3 sisters, Kelly McClintock of Clinton, Michelle McClintock of Savanna, Il, and Tesha (Will) Fischer of DeWitt; 2 nieces, Katie and Kylee and a nephew, Dylan.
