I graduated with Leah Rae in 1956. She joined us at our class reunions and was so much fun to be with. My husband enjoyed picking on her about having her name tag on upside down. I had just sent her a message on FB about Veterans Day. She was a jewel and will be missed.
So sorry for your loss. Lea was always a dear. and loving soul!
We became friendly with Lea at the Manor. It was always fun to see her, she would definitely brighten up your day. I loved how she took interest in what my family was up to, and would listen intently, and add a fun story or joke around with us. We will really miss her humor and big smile❤️
I worked at Rock Island Arsenal so knew Leah from training classes that she’d give/facilitate. She was always friendly, always professional, always considerate of others. May God comfort you all at this difficult time.
Wonderful woman and inspiration to me and many others. We enjoyed our love of music and theater. Dear friend and will be greatly missed by many she helped through the years. She will hold a special place in my heart. Deepest sympathy.

Remembering you all in prayer in the coming days. I had the fun of working with Leah at Mercy in Clinton in our much younger years. I will always remember her dry sense of humor and gentle demeanor. God bless her and all of those she loved.
