Toni R. Cole age 77

Toni R. Cole, age 77 of Clinton, passed away Thursday, May 9, 2024 at Mercy One Hospital, surrounded by her family. A Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM on Friday, May 17, 2024 at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 PM Thursday at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the Mass cremation rites will be accorded.
Toni was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on November 4, 1946, the daughter of Charles and Margaret (Thomas) Blanchard. She attended Wilton Schools. Toni had been employed at Eaton, Drives, Inc., FOCUS, and Swiss Colony, from where she retired. She was a member of Prince of Peace Parish. Toni enjoyed spending time with her family, shopping for her grandkids, dancing, fishing and cooking.
Toni is survived by 4 children; Duane (Bobbi) Ferguson of Savanna, Joe (Kay Hartman) Ferguson of Mt. Carroll; Fred Ferguson of Clinton, and Randy Cole of Fulton; 8 grandchildren, Adam, Ryan, Max, Justin, Jaron, Mandie, Cheyenne, and Missa; 13 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Nancy Gallaway of Effingham, SC, Lenore (Don) Schlimmer of Iowa City, Margaret (Keith) Miles of Muscatine, and Teresa Blanchard of Wilton; 4 brothers, Tom Blanchard of Greely, CO, Paul (Teresa) Blanchard of Lone Tree, Mike Blanchard of Muscatine, and Robert Blanchard of Davenport and many niece and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark; 2 grandchildren, Aeron and Dylan and 2 brothers, Charles and Barry. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
