Shelli R. Freer – 57

Shelli Rae Freer, age 57 of Clinton, passed away Friday, May 24, 2019 at Mercy One Medical Center. According to her wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, June 8th from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Pape Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 3 PM. Shelli was born in Clinton, Iowa on February 13, 1962, the daughter of Frank and Beverly (Wagoner) Kenworthy. She graduated from Clinton High School. Shelli married Earl Freer in Clinton in 2005. Shelli worked as a CNA at multiple Clinton nursing homes, most recently at Eagle Point Nursing Home, and was working on completing her Nursing Degree. She enjoyed fishing, camping, arts and crafts, and most of all visiting with her grandchildren.

Shelli is survived by her mother Beverly of Clinton; her husband Earl of Clinton; her daughter Jess (Eric) Bousman of Clinton; two sons, Matt (Melissa) Kenworthy of Clinton and Michael Sansom of Florida; her step-son Ryan Freer of Morris, IL; 11 grandchildren, Alex, Matthew, Caleb, Mallory, Connor, Melanie, Madison, Kendra, Gabe, Spencer and Caitlynn; two sisters, Kelly (John) Hartman of Camanche and Traci Kenworthy of Clinton; her brother Michael Kenworthy of California; three brother in laws and two sisters in laws and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Frank and her daughter Nicole Sansom. Memorials may be made to the family
