Sheila M. Sager age 75 of Clinton, passed away Monday Dec. 19, 2022 at her home. Cremation rites have been accorded and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Sheila was born on June 8, 1947 in Dublin, Ireland, the daughter of Patrick and May (Murray) Plunkett. She married Charles Sager on Nov. 14, 1977 in Dublin, Ireland. Sheila was a hostess at Rastrelli’s in Clinton for over 19 years. She enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren and spending time with her family.
Sheila is survived by her husband, Charles Sager of Clinton, IA; her son, Patrick (Kate) Sager of Clinton, IA; five grandchildren, Hannah, Aidan, Kyle, Fiona, and Kaitlyn; two great grandchildren, Lucas and William; six sisters, Carmel (Mic) Cash of Kansas City, KS, Dierdre (Alan) Reddy, Eileen Moore, Pauline (Don) Treacy, Carol (John) Brennan, and Masie (Kevin) Hefernan all of Dublin, Ireland; two brothers, Joseph (Mari) Plunkett and Patrick Plunkett both of Ireland; and several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Ar dheis Dé go raibh hanam, At the right hand of God may be her soul.
