Sharon K. Dierks, age 78, passed away Wednesday Nov.22nd, 2023 at Park Vista in Camanche. Visitation will be at Pape Funeral Home, Clinton on Sunday Nov. 26th from 1 – 4 PM. Funeral services will be held Monday Nov. 27th at 10:30 AM at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Jayson Hebdon Sr., Jayson Hebdon Jr., Joseph Hebdon, Vincent Schreiber, Wyatt Schreiber, and Beth Dierks.
Sharon was born April 18th, 1945 in Clinton, daughter of Dennis and Venita (Dau) Hebdon. Sharon is a 1963 graduate of Clinton High School. She married Alan D. Dierks on October 3rd, 1965, in Clinton. Alan passed away in 2020. She worked at Clinton National Bank for 23 years before retiring in 2008. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She enjoyed many hobbies, ceramics, and making floral arrangements. She also enjoyed camping and fishing with her brother Denny and sister-in-law Katie. She also enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with Alan.
Sharon is survived by her daughters, Brenda Schreiber of Preston, IA and Beth Dierks (Pam Norman) of Clinton; three grandchildren, Karissa Wilfong, Vincent Schreiber, and Wyatt Schreiber. One great-grandchild, Victorya Runge; one brother, Dennis (Katie) Hebdon of Cedar Rapids, IA; 1 nephew Jayson Hebdon Sr.; 1 niece Stacy Hebdon; 2 great-nephews and 1 great-niece. She was preceded in death by her husband Alan and parents. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family or Zion Lutheran Church. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
