Ronald E. Krogman age 82 of Clinton, IA, passed away Saturday Jan. 14, 2023 at MercyOne, Clinton. Cremation rites have been accorded. Mass will be held at 11:00 AM Friday Jan. 20th at Prince of Peace Parish. Visitation will be held Friday 9:30 AM until the service hour at Prince of Peace. Following the Mass, a luncheon will be held at Prince of Peace. A private family burial will be held at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ron was born on Feb. 10, 1940 in Clinton, IA, the son of Edmund and Helen (Nelson) Krogman. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 1958 and received his BA Degree from St. Ambrose University. Ron married Beth Tallman on Feb. 24, 1962 in Clinton, IA. He worked as a shipping coordinator at Case International formerly International Harvester for over 34 years. Ron was a member of Prince of Peace Parish and the UAW Union in Moline, IL.
He also was an active member of the YMCA/YWCA for many years. Ron enjoyed running, fishing, hunting, and was an avid nature lover. He was an enthusiastic football fan.
Ron is survived by his wife, Beth Krogman of Clinton, IA; two daughters, Lisa (Nick) Leonard of Fulton, IL and Sheila Krogman of Clinton, IA; four granddaughters, Chloe, Claire, Lily, and Betsy; two brothers, Dick (Joyce) Krogman and Mark Krogman both of Clinton, IA; and several nieces & nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Linda.

I am so sorry to hear of Ron’s passing, I knew Ron as “Lisa’s Dad” I always thought Ron and Beth were awesome people they were so warm and friendly. RIP Ron, and hugs to the family.
