Richard A. “Rick” Bunce, age 53 of Charlotte, Iowa, passed away peacefully, Monday, January 24, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM Friday, January 28th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton with services to following the visitation. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded. Rick was born in Moline, IL on November 20, 1968, the son of Owen and Linda (Orr) Bunce. He graduated from Northeast High School. Rick married Adrea Snodgrass on June 5, 1993 at St. Anne’s Church, in Long Grove. Rick enjoyed spending time with family. He loved spending time with his grandchildren, being outdoors, helping kids on their gators, even though he never rode himself, and watching sun sets. He loved car “shopping” and car restorations on TV channels. He loved cooking for his kids and the nieces & nephews. His famous meals to make were ham and Doritos sandwiches, or popcorn and M&Ms.

Rick is survived by his wife, Adrea; 2 children, Sabri (Austin) Smith of Clinton and Gary (Shawntel) Bunce of Charlotte; 4 grandchildren, Daxten, Finnick, Emilia, and Eleanor; his father, Owen Bunce of Camanche; a half-sister, Lori Manning of Camanche; an uncle Allen (Patsy) Orr of California; and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother.
