Visitation:
Visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home and feel free to wear Cubs attire.
Memorial Service:
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 PM on Tuesday, March26th at the Pape Funeral Home. Following the service cremation rites will be accorded with burial at a later date.
Notes:
Reed was born in Clinton on August 16, 1955, the son of Russell and Doris (Dwire) Houser. He married Deborah Klasi on August 25, 1980 in Clinton. Deborah passed away on August 13, 2014. Reed had been employed with International Paper and later at Ralston Purina. Reed was a jack-of-all trades. He loved woodworking, building projects and working on cars. He enjoyed his garage and backyard parties with his friends. He was an avid Cubs fan and had enjoyed camping with his wife.
Reed is survived by two daughters: Rachael (Nick) Ball and Rhonda Whitfield both of Clinton; 6 grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Michael, Nicholas, Madison, Hailey and Bianca; his mother, Doris Houser of Clinton; two brothers, Raymond (Kathy) Houser of Willis, TX and Russell (Kristal) Houser of Clinton; his sister, Julie (Harold) Black of Carbon Cliff, Il and several nieces and nephews.
