Ramona C. Frederick age 90, passed away Monday Dec. 19, 2022 at MercyOne, Clinton. A private family service will be held Thursday Dec. 29th at the Pape Funeral Home. Burial will be held at Oakland Cemetery. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.

Ramona was born on July 11, 1932 in Fulton, IL, the daughter of Glen and Cathryn (Norman) Gray Sr. She married John Frederick on Sept. 27, 1949 in Clinton, IA. She was a homemaker and worked at A.C. Nielsen Co. for over 10 years. Ramona enjoyed bowling, archery, ceramics, playing cards, bird watching, and always looked forward to Tuesday Morning coffee with siblings and friend, Betty. Spending time with family filled her heart with joy.

Ramona is survived by her daughter, Marilyn “Mic” (Gary) Barnes and her son, Richard “Rick” (Nancy) Frederick both of Clinton, IA; three grandchildren, Nick Frederick, Lisa Frederick, and Chad (Rhoni Jo) Barnes and two great grandchildren, Gabe and Grant Barnes; and three brothers, Glen (Shirley) Gray Jr. of Clinton, IA, Leroy Gray of Atlantic, IA, and Dwain “Butch” (Ruth) Gray of Rockton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Deborah Sue, her granddaughter, Jenny, and two sisters, Thelma Jewell and Carol Ivey.
