I love this photo of your beautiful Mom Phyllis but I am so sad to see this news. It was so nice to visit with her when she came shopping. Of course we would chat about our kids and grandkids. She dearly loved you all. She couldn’t believe it when I told her that I was a great-grandma. I send you my sincere condolences
Sue
We just saw this in the Clinton Herald online and send our love and sympathy to your family. Phyllis and Jim Butler were classmates in Eagle Grove and always shared memories of those days. Clinton was fortunate to gain both your Mom and Dad as residents.
We enjoyed many fun times with your Mom and Dad. Phyllis always had a smile, kind words and was interested in all her friends. She was an amazing lady and will be missed by many. It was a blessing to know her.
Deb, Sue, Caroline, and Mary, I just saw this today after Mike made a post on FB and am so terribly sorry for your loss. I probably don’t need to tell you, but I spent a fair amount of time visiting with your folks when I would get back to Clinton from Colorado in the late 70’s – early 80’s before my mom moved away. Your mom and dad were always so welcoming to me and interested in what was going on in my life. And of course, your mom never sent me away hungry! I’ll call my mom today and let her know the news and I know she will be very sorry. She and your mom would catch up by phone every year or so and she always really enjoyed speaking with Phyllis. Your mom was just a friend to everybody who was fortunate enough to have known her. So sorry to hear this! Best, -Tom Fitch.
Sincere Sympathy for your lost Caroline. My condolences to you and your family.

So sorry for your loss Caroline. My condolences for you and your family.
Your parents were great friends to Mom and Dad. Phyllis was so caring of Joan after Dad died. As Mom struggled Phyllis would call me with updates. I always appreciated her kindness. I’m so sorry for your loss, but what a beautiful life lived
