Paula Jo Pearson, age 65, of Clinton, IA sadly passed away on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023, at the Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL. Funeral service to be held at 1:00 PM Saturday, Jan. 14th at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be held Friday, Jan. 13th from 4 – 7 PM at the funeral home. Paula was born on Jan. 20, 1957 in Springdale, PA, the daughter of Harold and Martha (Mitas) Stresky. She graduated from Mt. St. Clare Academy in 1975 and received her Associates Degree from Clinton Community College. Paula married Steve Pearson on Oct. 14, 1978 in Fulton, IL. She and her husband owned and operated Upholstery Unlimited in Clinton. She also worked several years in the gift shop at the casino in Clinton.
Paula was a wonderful wife, mom, and grandma who was happiest when surrounded by family and friends. She was also a gifted artist who loved drawing, painting, and decorating.
Paula is survived by her husband, Steve Pearson of Clinton, IA; three children, Nick (Liz) Pearson of Cedar Rapids, IA, Spenser (Allie) Pearson of Greenville, SC, and Ashley (Jeremy) White of Johnston, IA; two grandchildren, Cam and Will. She was preceded in death by her parents.
